The cult foundation that promises to match your skin perfectly
Here’s what our Review Crew® thought of the long-wearing and high-coverage foundation

The product
Finding the perfect foundation shade can be hard. While many foundations come in a handful of different hues, somehow you never seem to be able to find the exact match that blends in to your skin tone undetected.
But when a foundation comes in 40 shades, now that’s what we’re talking about. Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation’s classic semi-matte, high-coverage foundation has undergone a revamp to include a range of 40 different shades in order to meet the needs of every woman.
The panel
We sent Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation to a panel of women aged between 25 and 45 who were looking for a foundation that promised a perfect shade match for their skin tone.
The lowdown
Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation:
How many shades were available: One of the main things Review Crew® members were pleased with was the huge shade range, with many commenting they were finally able to find a shade that matched their complexion perfectly.
How long-wearing the formula was: Testers were also impressed with how long-lasting the formula was. Some reviewers with combination to oily skin types mentioned that they didn’t even need to touch-up their T-zone throughout the day.
The flawless finish it created: Many reviewers fell in love with the seamless and full-coverage finish of the foundation. Additionally, many were pleased with how buildable the foundation was, making it a great foundation for both day and night looks.
The verdict
“I couldn't believe how perfect this foundation is for my combination skin! The dreaded T-zone did not need powder or touch-ups [at] any time! My daughter who has oily skin tried it and went straight out and bought it and was astounded by the colour range. I was also amazed by the staying power from morning through the workday and into a night out. All I can say is ‘at last!’”

“I absolutely love this foundation! It was very easy to find my perfect colour match from the variety of shades. The foundation goes on very smooth and the coverage is buildable if need be. I like my foundation to be full coverage and matte and last throughout an entire workday. The Lancôme Teint idole Ultra Wear definitely ticked all the boxes!

“I loved this foundation: the packaging was elegant, easy to apply, and there was a good range of shades to choose from. It gives a flawless finish with high coverage that was long-lasting."
